Mies van der Rohe Award Nominee

Baum’s House for a Family of Musicians has been nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Award, Europen most prestigious prize for architecture. Among 33 other projects in the country, our project has been selected as one of the best accomplished building in Spain between 2018 and 2020.

Baum lectures at Nanjing University

Baum gives the lecture “Tradition in Progress” at Nanjing School of architecture, one of the most important architecture schools in China. Javier Caro and Miguel Gentil went through ten years of practice, analysing Baum’s production from the point of view of the interaction between contemporariness and tradition.

Li Xiangning interviews Baum

Li Xiangning, one of the greatest Chinese critics and theorist in architecture interviews Baum for UA Magazine, giving an end to the series of interviews we did to Spanish architects. The so far interviewers  get now interviewed. Dr. Xiangning Li is deputy dean and full professor in history, theory and criticism at Tongji University College of Architecture and Urban Planning.

Lecture for the Family Business Association

Baum is invited to give a lecture for the Family Business Association of Andalusia, as a good practice example of innovation and international aims. Some of the most influential companies in Spain and Andalusia belong to the Family Business Network and some of their representatives were among the audience.
